Need help, found a bug, or scanned a card that came back wrong? In the app, open the More tab and tap Send feedback. Name the card involved; the app version, platform and OS version are sent along automatically, which is usually enough to reproduce it.

Common questions

A card scanned as the wrong card.

Different prints of the same artwork are the hardest case: a reverse holo and its regular version share an image, and some reprints differ only in the set symbol. Pick the right card from the near matches, and tap Wrong card? under the result to send us that scan. You see exactly what is sent before it goes.

Scanning is not recognising anything.

Fill the on-screen frame with the card, keep it flat and roughly square to the camera, and avoid direct glare on holo cards. Sleeved cards work, but a glossy or heavily scuffed sleeve makes it harder.

A price looks wrong or is missing.

Prices come from a market snapshot that refreshes once a day, so a card that moved sharply today may lag until tomorrow. Some cards have no price at all: the marketplaces do not list every card individually, and promos that only come in sealed products often have no single-card price to report.

Do I need an internet connection?

No scan waits on one. Card recognition, card names and prices all work from data on your phone, so Snaptory keeps up on the busy wifi at a card show. A connection lets it fetch card images, refresh prices, pick up newly released sets, and open a card's marketplace page.

Where is my collection stored? Is it backed up?

On your phone. Snaptory has no account and no cloud sync of its own, but your inventory, collections and piles are included in your phone's own backup (iCloud on iPhone, Google on Android), so a restored or new phone gets them back. You can also save a copy any time with More, Export backup, and bring it back with Import backup. See the privacy policy.

How do I restore my subscription on a new phone?

Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with, open More and tap Restore purchases.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought from. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Snaptory. On Android, open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, and choose Snaptory. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

Will you add iPad, tablets, or cloud sync?

Snaptory is built for phones, on iPhone and Android. Feature requests are welcome, in the app with Send feedback.
